After more than 20 years working in the advertising industry, a life-changing health experience led me slow down, reflect and rethink what truly mattered: childhood, nature, and emotional wellbeing.
During this period of deep personal change, I began exploring new ways of working with children, starting with yoga and emotional support. This path opened the door to early childhood education and a journey through different pedagogical approaches. First trained and worked with Montessori education, later immersed in Waldorf pedagogy, and continued integrating movement, creativity and emotional awareness into my work with children.
Eventually, discovered the Forest School pedagogy— and everything clicked. My lifelong connection to nature, the sea and surfing suddenly aligned with my vision of education: children learning outdoors, developing resilience, confidence and a deep sense of belonging in the world. A space where children grow roots
Here, children are given time and space to: be who they are feel safe and emotionally supported explore freely strengthen their identity connect with the natural world. We believe education is not only about learning skills — it is about nurturing the being. When children feel grounded, seen and connected, they grow with confidence, curiosity and inner strength.
Education born from life experience. This project was not created from theory alone, but from lived experience, personal transformation and a deep commitment to childhood.
The Bush School Kindergarten is a place where nature, emotional development and respectful guidance come together to support children in becoming themselves.
